Ideal Candidates

Direct Agents Inc. is seeking a candidate for our Account Management team. Members of the team perform a variety of functions to maintain and improve client accounts. This is an entry to mid-level position with excellent growth opportunities.

Requirements
  • Must have a BA/BS Degree from an accredited university
  • At least 2-3 years customer service/account management experience required. Experience in Interactive Advertising is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills – must be comfortable with MS Excel and data analysis
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Computer skills – thorough understanding of MS Office, Outlook and familiarity with internet technologies
  • Strong time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Diligent work ethic. Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done
  • Ability to function in a team environment
Job Description – Account Manager

Candidates will act as the liaison with our advertising clients, and will manage important aspects of advertising campaigns. You will be the face of the company to the client. Strong analytical skills are required to be successful in this position. Some of the basic responsibilities are:

  • Client Interaction - managing day-to-day business with advertising clients, including: campaign status, reporting, creative approval, budgeting, troubleshooting, etc
  • Daily Reporting – reporting on campaign expenditures, budgets, media placements, etc.
  • Marketing analytics - One of the Account Manager’s core responsibilities lay in analyzing statistical data on a regular basis to ensure proper development and optimization for each of their campaigns.
  •  Sales Support - Preparing contracts and support material for Media Buying and Sales teams.
  • Campaign Management - Organizing and executing creative materials and technical integration for campaigns.
  • Maintaining proper records of all insertion orders, invoices, checks, etc. for clients.

As candidates gain experience, they will have the opportunity to learn additional skills and take on new responsibilities. Some areas for long term growth include:

Project Management - Help manage numerous websites and ecommerce projects that the company operates. Oversee and coordinate all aspects of project conceptualization to implementation. This involves working directly with the design, programming and business development teams to see projects to completion.

Senior Management - Senior account managers that show exceptional skills and work ethic will eventually be asked to build and manage their own team of account managers.
